introduction videos for new series

I love this new series "Smoky Rubber Doll"! Another great piece of Susans and Normans artwork.

There is an introduction video attached as usual on newer series. But this time it is not presented in wmv (Windows media) or mov (Apple Quick Time) format. It is a flash video (.flv).

I doubt that fans will like this kind of format. It is not downloadable with a right button click usually. You need Downloadhelper or similar tools to download the video.
The current video is 68MB as flv file. Audio plays fine with VLC player on my MAC but not the video. I will try on windows.

PLEASE, Norman, change it back to the previous formats, at least for long term members! Is there any reason to change to this flash video format? It makes the download just a bit complicated!

The same with VLC on Windows, Audio works, Video not. 720p VC1 is definitely preferred :D

of course we still provide you the RM and WMV video formats! There was just a smaller mistake with uploading these huge files. Give me just some time ;)

By the way the idea of the flash file and the integrated flash player is just for enjoying the video just in the moment on the website. It's not really the idea to download them also because the video is smaller than the rm/wmv files. We just thought it's a nice feature for someone who can't resist but the download of the real videos needs a lot time. But watching the flash video on the website works fine for you or do you also miss the audio or video stream?

The player on the website is working fine! And it's a nice idea, too. You can watch the Video while downloading the Hi Res Version :D

I really like your stuff on this website and i really enjoy everything you present, but i got one question (if you cannot realise it, than it\'s OK). I always gotta wait for the flv to download until i can start downloading the wmv file.
It is only becouse of the effect, that you gotta open the videoleft before the wmv download appears. Could you please change that?

I like the stuff on your website really and have joke in all what to her presented, but I have a question (if you are not able to do it realiesieren, it is in order). I must wait always to the FLV down is loaded, before I can load wmv down.
everything only because one must open only the video-link, before the wmv download appears. Could you change this please?

You must wait? Strangely! I go on the videoside and then immediately on wmv or rmvb download left. Then Dand we downloaded and I goes immediately back around not furthermore live video to see to save therefore range for the download.

@Shizo666: With you, however, the download only after him pass the ball of the Flash video is functioned really peculiarly. Now I have sometimes the automatic start of the Flash video dekativiert. Now thus one can freely decide whether one downloads the video rather or considers on the web page.

I've as well I wouldn't know why it else not fold would.

Was in my case definitely that same. Foremost from what to conclude des Galerie-Tabs started the Video-Download, Stream and Download together went not. (FireFox 2.0)
